Itinerary
Day 1: Adelaide
Arrive at Adelaide and privately transfer to Hotel. Day at leisure. Visit the Central Market or Adelaide Oval or stroll along the Rundle Mall Street and experience the lively vibe of Adelaide city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island – Adelaide
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning pick up from your Adelaide hotel for a scenic coach trip to Cape Jervis to connect with Sea Link’s ferry for the 45 minute crossing to Kangaroo Island. On arrival travel to Seal Bay for a walk on the beach amongst a colony of rare and wild Australian Sea Lions with an experienced guide. Head to Vivonne Bay for a two-course lunch, followed by a visit to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. See the rugged coastline from walks around Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch. Remarkable Rocks provides great photographic opportunities, and the Admiral’s Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful New Zealand fur seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing in the waves or on the rocks. Return to Penneshaw for the return journey to Adelaide. Tour concludes approximately at 10.40pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence. Overnight stay at the hotel (B, L)
Day 3: Adelaide (Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf Tour)
Breakfast at the hotel. The rest of day at leisure till an afternoon tour of the Adelaide Hills (Departure Time: 1.15pm). Drive along North Terrace – Adelaide’s cultural precinct – on the way to Mount Lofty Summit, Adelaide’s highest peak. Take in the spectacular views of the city and the coastline – a perfect photo opportunity. Wind your way through the Adelaide Hills villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate and Bridgewater before arriving at Hahndorf, Adelaide’s oldest German settlement. Spend the afternoon exploring the main street of Hahndorf where you can sample local produce, check out the local arts and crafts before enjoying afternoon tea or a traditional German beer tasting at the very popular Hahndorf Inn. Back to the hotel for overnight stay. (B)
Day 4: Adelaide – Melbourne
Breakfast at the hotel. Privately transfer to Airport for flight to Melbourne (Not included). Arrive Melbourne and transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Melbourne City Tour – Phillip Island – Melbourne
Breakfast at the hotel. At 8.10am join your coach to commence a morning tour of Melbourne. View examples of Melbourne architectural splendour including St. Pauls Cathedral and the Princess and Regent Theatres. See the Royal Exhibition Buildings and Federation Square, and stroll around Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. View the Fitzroy Gardens and see Captain Cook’s Cottage (entry at own expense). See the bustling Queen Victoria Market and Albert Park, home to the Australian Grand Prix, visit the Shrine of Remembrance and see the South bank waterfront precinct. Cross the Bolte Bridge for great city views. Tour concludes at approximately 11.50am at Federation Square. Later At 1.15 pm join your coach to commence your afternoon and evening Phillip Island Tour. Journey south-east and visit Maru Koala and Animal Park which has a large number of exhibits including koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, Tasmanian devils, emus and native Australian birds. View spectacular coastal scenery at the Nobbies, two rocky outcrops abundant in marine life. From the walkways you may be able to catch a glimpse of Australia’s largest population of fur seals living along the coastline. Browse through the Phillip Island Visitors Information Centre and learn about the little penguins and life on this island. Watch as the Little Penguins battle the surf and make their way to their dune burrows and learn of the environmental and conservation methods that are initiated to ensure that the wildlife and vulnerable geology of Phillip Island remains protected. See the Little Penguins up close as they return to their nests to greet their young families and view the powerful southern coastline with its clean, sandy beaches and rocky shores. Stop in Cowes for dinner (own expense) before commencing the return journey to Melbourne. Tour concludes at approximately 11.30pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence. Overnight stay at the hotel (B)
Day 6: Melbourne (Great Ocean Road Adventure tour)
Breakfast at the hotel. A coach will pick you up from your hotel for transfer to the departure point of your tour. At 8.00am join your coach to commence a full day Great Ocean Road tour. The Great Ocean Road is one of the world’s great drives, a dramatic, powerful, dangerous and majestic coastline, also known as the Shipwreck Coast. Your day on the Great Ocean Road extends from Geelong through Anglesea, Lorne and Apollo Bay. After a stop for lunch (own expense) continue on through the Otway National Park to the rugged beauty of the Twelve Apostle National Park and the Twelve Apostles themselves. Also view Loch Ard Gorge and Port Campbell – this beautiful rugged coastline has been shaped by the wild Southern Ocean. Tour concludes at approximately 7.30pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)
Day 7: Melbourne – Sydney
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for the flight to Sydney (Not included). Arrive Sydney and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)
Day 8 : Sydney (Half day The City Tour): Breakfast at the hotel. A coach will pick you up from your hotel for your transfer to the departure point of your tour. At 8.15am join your coach to commence a morning City Tour. See points of interest including The Rocks, Sydney Opera House and visit Mrs Macquaries Chair for superb views of the harbour and city skyline. Journey to Bondi Beach, Australia’s most famous surf beach, where you can wander along the shoreline and dip your toes into the cool ocean. Next stop is the entrance of Sydney Harbour, known as the Gap. A dramatic ocean cliff on the eastern coast of Sydney, the Gap provides breathtaking views of the coastline. Return to Sydney through the famous suburbs of Double Bay, Paddington and Kings Cross. Tour concludes at approximately 11.45am and you may disembark at either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)
Day 8: Sydney (Half day The City Tour)

Day 9: Sydney (Blue Mountain Inc Featherdale Wildlife Park & River Cruise)
Breakfast at the hotel. A coach will pick you up from your hotel for transfer to the departure point of your tour. At 8.15am join your coach to commence a full day Blue Mountains tour. Travel over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and head west towards the Blue Mountains. Visit the quaint village of Leura to purchase morning tea (own expense), then head to Scenic World and enjoy views of the Jamison Valley. You may choose to ride the Railway, Cableway or Skyway (own expense). Next stop is Echo Point to take in the spectacular views of the Megalong and Jamison Valleys across to the Three Sisters. Learn about the Aboriginal dreamtime legend of this rock formation. Stop at Waradah Aboriginal Centre (entry at own expense), then head to Featherdale Wildlife Park for the opportunity to get up close with our native wildlife. Hand feed kangaroos, wallabies, emus and enjoy a face to face encounter with a friendly koala. End the day with a relaxing cruise down the Parramatta River to Sydney Harbour, admiring the waterside suburbs and scenery along the way. Disembark at either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. Tour concludes at approximately 6.00pm. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)
Day 10: Departure from Sydney
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for your flight to next destination. (B)
