Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival

Arrival at Tromsø Airport take the Airport bus to Tromsø center. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. For dinner we recommend “Emma’s Dream Kitchen”, located only 5 minutes walking from the hotel, where you can go on a journey through the tastes of the arctic and let your senses be stimulated (not included). Accommodation at Clarion Collection Hotel With or similar. (2 nights)

Day 02: Aurora safari

Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast at the hotel. Today, you have the day at leisure. We recommend visiting the Polaria museum (entrance not included) and get the chance to participate in the seal feeding. At 19:15, you will be picked up from the Scandic Ishavshotel for you Aurora safari. A bus will take you on a hunt for the magical Northern lights. During the evening your guide will provide interesting information about the Northern lights, both the science and the folklore. Overnight at Clarion Collection Hotel With or similar.

Day 03: Husky safari & overnight in the wilderness

Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel and a morning at leisure. In the afternoon, you will start a tour to enjoy a dog sledge safari with overnight stay in a Camp (shared accommodation). You will drive your own team of huskies. During this night, there is a chance to see the mysterious Northern Lights. This wilderness adventure will give you a good impression of the North-Norwegian nature and will be a memory for a lifetime! Lunches, dinner, breakfast, snacks and overnight equipment included.

Day 04: Return to Tromsø late afternoon

After breakfast, get on you snowmobile and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! The area is fantastic and suitable for a snowmobile ride. Fun is guaranteed! You will get back in Tromsø in the end of the afternoon.

Day 05: Sommarøy Island

After a beautiful afternoon at camp Tamok a shuttle bus will wait for you in Tromsø and will take you to Sommarøy Island. With beaches reminiscent of the Riviera, fantastic views and vibrant fishing villages, Sommarøy is a fine getaway destination from Tromsø, and makes for a great stop-off point along the coast. Keep an eye open as you may have a chance to see green lights in the arctic sky tonight. Accommodation at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel (2 Nights)

Day 6: What about an activity in Sommarøy today?

Today we recommend an activity on spot. Don’t miss the stunning fjord scenery. Take part in a rib boat tour to explore the beautiful turquoise water. If you are lucky you might see some wildlife such as sea eagles! If you didn’t get enough northern lights, then join a northern lights tour. Sommarøy is a well-located area to see the aurora. (Activities on request.)

Day 7: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Sommarøy to Tromsø airport. Time to leave the beautiful northern islands.
