Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara – Kilimamoja Manyara Lodge

Day Itinerary
Morning picks up from Kilimanjaro Airport and transfers to Arusha, proceed drive to Lake Manyara Park are arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, located between the rocks of the Great Rift Valley and Manyara lake. The beauty of this park is partly due to its large variety of birdlife, grasslands, forests, and water. Later Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge, Meal Plan: – Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner.
Lake Manyara National Park
Situated in Tanzania’s central-northern region with Lake Manyara on its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west, the Lake Manyara National Park offers breath-taking views and a large variety of habitats supporting an array of wildlife. This small park is home to surprising biodiversity and features a magnificent landscape of acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. The Park supports 400 species of bird and the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world.

Overnight: Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge
Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge is nestled on the rim of the Great African Rift Valley with stunning views of Lake Manyara, Mount Meru and on a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro.
The lodge is situated in lush green gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of birds. It offers an ideal place in which to base a northern safari experience. The Ngorongoro Crater, Oldeani, Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Highlands are just a short drive away from the lodge. Sitting around the outside fireplace watching the sun setting over the Great Rift Valley and listening to the humming of the birds in the background is a fitting way to end the day, and prepare for a sumptuous dinner feast.

Day 2: Manyara to Central Serengeti, Ole Serai Tented Lodge

Day Itinerary
After breakfast travel by road from Lake Manyara Kilimamoja to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, where you will visit the Gorge and the Museum (Extra optional excursion US$50 per person), with an option to visit Masai Village for the cultural tour experience, (Extra optional excursion US$35 per person), en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at The Tented Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner.
Central Serengeti
Situated in the heart of Tanzania, the Central Serengeti encompasses the world-famous Seronera Valley which is known for its prime wildlife-viewing opportunities. This picture-perfect landscape is characterised by endless stretches of savannah-covered open plains, interspersed by rocky outcrops of granite, scattered with acacia woodlands and covered in a network of rivers and streams. Overnight: Ole Serai Tented Lodge Full Board – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, and Lunch
This Luxury Camp is ideally located within the Central Seronera area of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania around the vicinity of the famous Moru Kopjes and Lake Magadi. The Campsite is perched between the Rongai Hills & Nyaroboro Hills, a few metres away from the banks of the Mbalageti / Seronera River having an abundant variety of resident wildlife (including all the Big 5) as well as a Hippo Pool located only a few metres away from the camp. Due to the Campsite’s ideal location, the great spectacle of the world-famous Annual Migration can be witnessed almost as close as to the camp’s doorsteps – since the site lies along with one of the main migratory corridors/routes which the wildebeest use during their Great Migration going to and fro the North and South of the Serengeti. The Rooms and the Guest areas have been specifically designed to offer the Guests an optimum 180-degree view while on their bed or while enjoying their meal or drinks and to bring them as close to nature as possible from the covered verandas.

Day 3: Central Serengeti

Day Itinerary
Today you spend the whole day on a game drive in this National Park, which is rich with all different species of animals. To give you a better chance of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo), you will carry a picnic lunch with you and spend the full day in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the Tented Lodge Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Central Serengeti
The Serengeti together with Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Park forms Africa’s most famous wildlife park. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many, and then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation needs to go no further. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. But that is not where the game viewing ends; large pride of lions, elephants and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles and eland to mention but a few.

Day 4: Serengeti Park to Ngorongoro, The Lions Paw Ngorongoro Lodge

Day Itinerary
After breakfast check out your lodge, morning to midday enjoy an en-route game drive at Serengeti National Park, midday stopover for picnic lunch, then en-route game drives towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Malanja Depression passing through various Masai Village tows to your lodge which is located on the prime location at the crater rim. PM Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater
Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife; which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. It is famed as one of Tanzania’s best tourist attractions offering visitors an array of wonderful activities including excellent bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking, and visiting a local Maasai village.

Overnight: Lion’s Paw Ngorongoro on full board basis
Situated on the Eastern Rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, visited quite often by the residents of the area, such as the buffalo and wildebeest, not to mention leopards and the odd elephant is our eccentric Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw Camp. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour, departure

Day Itinerary
Breakfast at the Lodge and then collect lunch boxes and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area; short drive up to the rim of Ngorongoro crater Enjoy the spectacular views before descending onto the crater floor for game viewing – there is some wonderful variety of wildlife and stunning landscape that makes this one of nature’s most unforgettable spectacles. Later ascend and drive back to Arusha, and proceed to Kilimanjaro Airport for your evening departure flight back home.
You have seen spectacular sights and created unforgettable memories – simply close your eyes to feel the warmth of the African sun on your skin, catch the scent of wild sage on the cool evening air, and hear the low, spine-tingling moans of lions at dusk.
